Cannes France – The Cannes Film Festival started with a great success!The red carpet was like a glimmering star with the glamorous actresses in the beautiful gowns. Léa Seydoux shocked the crowd by wearing a daring silver Louis Vuitton with a high slit while Greta Gerwig was rocking a chic, burgundy Saint Laurent sequined dress. Lily Gladstone was shining in a Gucci fitted number and Juliette Binoche was making a bold statement in a flowing red dress with a dramatic train. Meryl Streep gave a classic and unforgettable look in a simple and elegant white gown.
The men maintained the classy approach by wearing black-tie clothes. Vincent Lindon and Louis Garrel were stylishly dressed in suits, and Quentin Dupieux contributed to the fun atmosphere by wearing a bowtie. Raphaël Quenard decided to wear a sophisticated double-breasted suit.

The red carpet was not only about the fashion but also about something else. The stars were at the “The Second Act” premiere which was a new film by Quentin Dupieux. The movie is about the funny story of Florence (Léa Seydoux) who’s so in love with David (Louis Garrel) that she cannot stop thinking about him. In contrast, David doesn’t feel the same. Deciding to get him on her side, Florence invites David to meet her father (Vincent Lindon). Thus, David persuades his friend Willy (Raphaël Quenard) to be his pretend lover for Florence in order to prevent the embarrassing situation. Strap in for some face-palm moments and the kind of comedy that will have you laughing out loud when “The Second Act” comes out!
