Tonight, in the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, is the 30th Annual SAG (Screen Actors Guild Awards). This year, the ceremony is ready to stream live on Netflix. The ceremony will be hosted by Adris Elba rather than Nick and Vanessa Lachey, which means they won’t be hosting another Netflix live broadcast.
Aside from the regrettable reunions of Love Is Blind, Netflix also released the comedy special featuring Chris Rock from the previous year and a golf event featuring a well-known individual. With any luck, its contacts have helped ensure that SAG won’t be put on hold.
Barbie and Oppenheimer have received the most nominations this year, with four apiece. Jennifer Aniston, Oppenheimer’s comedy partner, will present the Barbara Streisand Life Achievement Award recipient. Viewers can anticipate a reunion of the Dole Wears Prada cast as Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt take the stage among the all-star lineup of presenters during the show.
