Tragic Loss: Golfing Star Grayson Murray Died at 30

Golf lovers are in a pale mood after the death of the competent player Grayson Murray who died at the age of 30.

Murray was still young and was just coming with his second title in the PGA TOUR , the Sony Open in Hawaii. PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said he was heartbroken in a statement when he said that Murray was a member of the PGA TOUR family. He also said that the parents of Murray demanded the ongoing tournaments in the name of their son insisting that is what the deceased would have wanted.

Some of the milestones that Murray had achieved in golfing are; If the evidence of current performance is anything to go by then Tiger Woods probably started his professional golfing career as a junior golfer, winning three junior championships in a row to become a leading junior golfer. He cut the professional tour at a very young age, he was only but 16 years old. Some college golf leading to Korn Ferry Tour and later on in 2016, EARNED his PGA TOUR card.

A rookie on the PGA TOUR, has had a good year, most notably winning the Barbasol Championship. As for the subsequent several seasons, there were some concerns, although Murray did not surrender. In 2023 he firmly claimed the Korn Ferry Tour, to return to the PGA TOUR in 2024. Last year again started on a high note with a wonderful performance of coming from behind to win in dramatic fashion at the playoffs at the Sony Open.

Many people, and especially the golfing fraternity, will feel the absence of Grayson Murray.
