The singer’s lawyer, Work Robinson, confirmed the arrest and claimed that the musician is helping the authorities in a statement to CBS News,
Wallen’s court appearance date is May 3rd, and his bond was set at $15,250. The arrest happened just before his “Dangerous: The Double Album Tour” began on Friday at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium. His performances in Nash Vegas are slated for May 2–May 4.
Furthermore, in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, his fellow country music artists celebrated their victories at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The “Need You Now” video defeated Wallen’s “Last Night” music video, which was nominated for Best Male Video of the Year.
