For the next film “Mission: Impossible”, Tom Cruise returned to the Parisian streets to do his waterfalls.
For the filming of the next “Mission: Impossible“, Tom Cruise again pilots a motorcycle in the streets of Paris.
Cinema – Ethan Hunt once again puts his suitcases in the French capital. In the evening of this Thursday, April 25, some passers -by had the chance to see Tom Cruise pilot a motorcycle at full speed in the streets of Paris on the occasion of the filming of the eighth part of the Mission saga: impossible. Something feels similar.
The 61-year-old actor, notably famous for making his own waterfalls, was seen in the 17th Parisian arrondissement, on avenue Carnot, a few dozen meters from the Arc de Triomphe as you can see below. Tom Cruise did not just appear at the level of the star roundabout. On X (formerly Twitter), a cliché of the filming circulates on which we see the actor on the Bir-Hakeim bridge.
Paris had already hosted a film in the saga, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, between April and May 2017. At the time, Tom Cruise was already piloting a motorcycle but he was driving in the wrong (and without helmet) around the Arc de Triomphe which had been closed for the occasion. During the 36 days that the shooting took place, it is estimated that the film of the film had spent around 25 million euros on Parisian soil.
Even if we do not yet know the intrigue of this eighth part, we know that this is the suite of mission: impossible – Dead Reckoning released in the cinema last year. In addition to Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie, the director of the last three opus in the series, the film brings together Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Katy O’Brian (The Mandalorian) and Tramell Tillman ( Severance).
You will have to be patient for mission fans: impossible because the film’s release in French rooms is only scheduled for May 21, 2025.
